We've been wanting to do some stuff on Camaro/Firebird but have not found a good candidate--until now. We recently came across Ray's Rod and Custom in nearby New Ellington, South Carolina. Nicely it is a complete rod shop with all the amenities accept air conditioning. BUT more importantly, Ray is just starting on a ground up restoration of a '69 Z/28 Camaro. We figured that this was a golden opportunity to "do" a Camaro without having to umm "do" a Camaro. Not that we don't want to do one, it's just that if we brought home another car Gina and Carla would kill Vinnie and me. And we don't want to die yet.
