I’m disappointed that the battery in my three year old Ford F-150 died. The truck had 40k miles on it, so of course, it’s not covered by warranty. I called the Ford dealership that I purchased the truck from to see if they might cover the battery beyond the standard 3yr/36k mile warranty. Nope. At least the dealership people were friendly, the truck was at home when it decided not to start, and I had just purchased a new battery for Gina’s Ford Explorer that happened to fit the F-150. … I still need to get another battery for the Explorer.

Online Auctions are dangerous.I see something like this Firebird and the little voice in my head immediately screams, "WANT!" Every once in a while, it's tempting to bid a little on a car to see what the reserve is, but be careful. I now own and '82 Firebird and an '86 IROC Z28 from bidding enough to hit the reserve and thinking, "Certainly, somebody else is going to come behind me and bid more than that."

...at least I got good deals.
