Jeff has to give me grief! Yes, I did tell him I had a blog post ready to go and then promptly forgot about it in the excitement in the shop! So, without further adieu, here's that post!

So this past Saturday while cruising through the local Credit Union lot of cars for sale (like Jeff told me specifically NOT to do) I fell in love with a Mustang. I know! I know! Another one?? In reality, it was a pretty run of the mill Mustang. A 1988 black 5.0 GT. Typical of cars of that age, it had issues. But they only wanted $3800.00 for it! We could rebuild it! We had the technology! It could be better than it was before! Better, stronger, faster, right? To be truthful, it had more than issues…it had an entire subscription. We’ll start with the questionable paint job (picture 8 drunken monkeys with spray paint cans and duct tape. Yeah.), and we’ll move on the dented body panels. We’ll stop when we get to the part of the story where it was blatantly obvious that sometime in the past….probably just prior to the “new” paint job…the car had taken a blow on the passenger side that had knocked the driver’s side body panels WAY out of alignment. Which, for me, meant that the frame straightness was now in question…..which meant the Mustang was out of the question. I want something I can daily drive while resto-modding. While this car was at first glance exactly what I wanted, it was too much to take on now. Plus, if I drag another needy Mustang home, Vince and Jeff may just kill me……

Gina is the camera woman of AutoRestoMod and handles a lot of the candid shots you see. She has lived and breathed Ford Mustangs...probably since birth! She current owns 4 Mustangs and a Porsche she is rather attached to. She is Vinnie's wife and Jeff's cousin and tries to keep the boys on task!
