Ahhh, Lincoln, Nebraska.  Sometimes we have a dearth of beautiful cars here, sometimes we can't drive the really fun cars due to weather, but sometimes an awesome event happens here.  Such was the case in May with the 32nd Annual Hot Rod Super Nationals.  It was raining all weekend, so a number of folks took their show cars home, but most did not.  I wanted to share some of them with everyone.

Warning:  I am not a professional photographer, nor do I play one on TV, but I try my best.

One of the first things everyone needs to know about my taste is cars - If it is blue and has white rally stripes, I am drawn to it.  Like this Camaro.  Which was awesome full stop, regardless of the paint job.

This Chevelle has INCREDIBLE paintwork.

This Chrysler was found in the woods with a smashed engine, a tree growing through the engine compartment and little interior left.   Incredible transformation.

Much to Jeff's consternation sometimes, I really, REALLY like old British cars.  Specifically MG's and Austins.  Yes, even with the wiring. So when I came around the corner and saw THIS MG, it was the perfect thing to end my day on before the clouds ripped open again.  1949 MG - Found in a barn in pieces and reassembled/restored.

Stories like the Chrysler and the MG make me smile and make me proud to be associated with ARM and people that restore cars in general.  You all take the forgotten about and turn them into the unforgettable.  It makes me very happy that I am along for the ride!
