Late-model seats in a classic car, 1967, 1968 Camaro seat tear down

This week we give you some tips on picking late-model seats for a classic car. We show you how to measure for seat width, head room, and correct seating position in preparation for installing 1997 Mercury sable buckets into our 1969 Fairlane. How to restore your car's gas tank using POR15 Products 

Old gas tanks can be rusty and if allowed to sit gunked up with old fuel. This week we look at fixing this problem in our 1969 Fairlane Station Wagon. We use an old Mustang gas tank to show what the inside of an old tank looks like.—and it ain’t pretty.  We also explain the use of the POR15 US Standard Gas tank Sealer Kit. And get some parts from NPD to restore our Fairlane fuel sender.

Testing Automotive gauges and

This week we delve into testing automotive sending units so that you know what is going on when your idiot lights are illuminated or what it means when your gauges are reading high or low. Safety and easy Camaro seat belt install 

Safety is a concern when driving a classic car. And we have an example of unsafe—a 1968 Camaro with no safety belts at all. This week we review and install the popular Ford Duraspark 2 upgrade on our 1965 Mustang hardtop. Of course this upgrade will work on Cougar, Falcon, Comet, Fairlane Torino, Montego and F100 as well. Episode 97 Fairlane Torino Dash Trim and the NPD Silver Springs Oktoberfest GM 

This week we check out the new 1968 and 1969 Torino and Fairlane passenger side trim piece from Dearborn Classics and approve of the new part. We also take you on a trip to the National Parts Depot Silver Springs GM Oktoberfest show in Ocala, Florida. This show draws around 500 cars for the one day show event.
