What We do

We are a teaching show. We help enthusiast figure out (often as WE figure it out) how to build their classic cars. We go in depth, often taking the time that others won't to show just how to do something. Yes, we make mistakes but show you how to get around them, then admonish you not to do the same. Our motto is "It's not a problem, it's a project."
The other teaching arm of ARM that we are extremely proud of is showing young people that film can be fun. We have kids as young as 9 working the set, running cameras, drinking way too much soda...but we give them the basics of shooting a how-to show. if you are in the Aiken, SC area and have a kid interested in film production, we accept children and teens from 9 to 18. Jeff Ford-Host of Autorestomod
Jeff has been in the car hobby since he received his first Matchbox car at the age of 4. Since that time his mother declared that he could, at will, turn any conversation into one about cars. His life long love of the mechanical and beautiful art that is automobile lead him to edit Mustang Monthly, Legendary Fords and finally to host Autorestomod, a creation of his own making. |
Cameron "Cam" Chambers - Co-host of Autorestomod
Our very own red menace, Cam has a degree in diesel tech, a love of classic cars and a mean hand at pan shots (anyone that can keep Larry Shirley in frame is nothing short of amazing).

- Andrew Medlin is our Assistant Director. He also runs a camera wen we can't find kids to do so.
- Logan Johnson is our current Jib Crane operator and quite frankly might just put Jeff out of a job. He is not intimidated by any of the camera work, not afraid to call a cut and quite willing to do what ever asked to get the shot.
- Jackson Johnson is our camera three operator. Nicknamed "The Noodle" Jackson dresses like a Russian mobster and is as strong as a...well...noodle.
- The Twins bounce between camera one and camera three. Boundless energy and more words than three average women, they are learning the ropes of camera operation.
- Carra McClelland is the voice of Autorestomod. Without her you'd just have to hear that much more of Jeff. Carra works as an IT person somewhere in the wilds of Nebraska.
- Shi Thead shop cat and all around nuisance; if there is a scene to be walked through or a an audio take to be meowed in, she is your cat.

- We're also available for weddings, birthdays, bar mitzvahs and the occasional bris.
We will do weddings...but only for friends.
